Do I need to have physical access to the phone to install the software?
Yes, you must own the phone you intend to monitor and have physical access to install the software.
The software is downloaded directly onto the phone to be monitored. Remote installation is not possible.

Does Mobile Spy work with my carrier?
Yes, Mobile Spy will work with ANY carrier as long as long as the carrier provides unrestricted GPRS internet capability and the model of the phone is one that is compatible with the software.
Does my phone need Internet access for the software to work?
Yes, your phone must have internet capabilities enabled in order for Mobile Spy to record activity.
The software requires unrestricted GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) internet on the phone and a data / internet plan, whether it be unlimited traffic or a specific amount of traffic.
Which countries will the software work in?
Mobile Spy will work in any country on the planet as long as the phone you own and are monitoring has:
- Unrestricted GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) internet signal in the foreign country to upload logs
- A phone service plan that allows for international service
Will users know Mobile Spy is installed or running?
Mobile Spy uses the latest innovations in stealth monitoring to keep your monitoring safe and secure. There are no indications that Mobile Spy is running while it is active. The program has no entries in the Menu of your phone, and its files are extremely discreet. Best of all, when Mobile Spy is running, there is NO entry for it in the Task Manager of your compatible phone. Also, performance of the monitored phone is not affected either.
How many phones can I monitor with one license?
You can use your single Mobile Spy account on up to THREE (3) separate phones without purchasing additional licenses!

If your model phone is not listed but you feel it may be compatible, you can simply submit a support ticket so Retina-X Studios, LLC’s technical support team can research compatibility for you.
My logs have stopped coming in today, what could be wrong?
If you have received logs normally and then they stop suddenly, then one of these could be the cause:
- There have been no activities to report.
- The phone is turned off or roaming.
- The phone is outside of an area with GPRS or Wi-fi internet access is available.
- The software was discovered and removed by the end-user.
Once the phone is turned on or comes back in range it will start uploading logs again starting where it left off. In most cases, if your logs stop yet none of the above apply, then just rebooting the phone will clear the memory and allow the program to function normally again.
If I change my SIM card, will it interfere with the Mobile Spy software?
Changing the SIM card will not harm the software. However, you should make sure the new SIM card has unrestricted GPRS internet and the internet connection is working properly. You can check this by opening the phone’s web browser and try going to http://domaindomino.com. If you see the site, then the Internet settings are fine. If not you will need to enable the Internet through your carrier or adjust the Internet settings of the phone to utilize the new carrier or data plan.
How do I change my Mobile Spy password?
To change your password, log into your account online. Then click the Change Password link on the left side menu. Enter your current password and the new password twice to confirm.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you do this, you will also need to change it on your phone. Otherwise Mobile Spy will still use the old password. To do so, bring up the interface on the monitored phone and change the password.
Can anyone review recorded data besides me?
Retina-X Studios, LLC‘s server keeps your files safe and secure. Nobody else can access your account without your user name or password. It is best, when you create your account, to not use common names or passwords that anyone you know would be able to figure out.
How big are the log uploads and will they show up as data usage on my phone bill?
The amount of data depends on the amount of activity the user performs. The phone bill will only show the usage if it details different connections. This is not the usual case because most data plans are unlimited, therefore uploaded activity is not listed.
